The current situation has presented challenging conditions for the entire industry . However , as the concept of ‘ normal ’ changes and people get accustomed to this ‘ new normal ’, professionals have also started to invest in better audio solutions and technological tools to communicate effectively with their audiences . Continuous upgradation of technology and products are always the key attribute of this industry which will continue to evolve even during this unprecedented time .

How did you leverage digital media to your advantage
Q during the lockdown ?
AThe pandemic has led to drastic changes in our everyday lives . With this being an unprecedented situation that multiple generations are seeing for the first time , it ’ s no doubt an extremely challenging time . The entire ecosystem is currently thriving on digitalisation during and post lockdown . Sennheiser as an Original Equipment Manufacturer has always believed in giving back to the community .
We initiated one-of-its-kind Educational Interactive Workshops that are being conducted by reputed musicians and sound engineers of India . We collaborated with ace drummer Rahul Hariharan and seasoned Sound Engineer Anupam Roy for its Season 1 , spanning over 3 Episodes which focuses on demystifying the entire Drum Recording process . Rahul Hariharan & Anupam Roy shared their invaluable insights and finer nuances of Drum miking while recording from either home studios , professional studios or even during live events .
To continue with the endeavour of upskilling professionals , Sennheiser additionally collaborated with Meghdeep Bose who is a renowned Indian music producer for Neumann Home Academy Studio series on YouTube . Through these series , Meghdeep Bose taught its viewers to record the beats produced by typical Indian instruments- Tabla and Sarangi , by using a high-quality Neumann microphone .
