What did you do musically through lockdown ? Did you release new music ?
Locked down on my craft ( no pun intended )! Worked on a TON of new music and content , and released a couple singles - The Long Way being one that was super close to my heart and very lockdown-relevant .
Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music
I ' ve had to learn how to be my own recording engineer , vocal producer , and video editor , and collaborate on writing songs on WhatsApp ! I miss the energy of being able to make music with people in person .
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
It ' s going to take a while , because the bread and butter of the music scene is live shows . But hopefully it encourages us to focus our attention on other aspects of the industry - craft , content , sync , publishing and the like .
What can we look forward to from you now ?
I have some upcoming songs in Hindi which I ' m excited ( and nervous ) about , and a bunch of surprises up my sleeve for the next few months . Stay tuned !

I released Cyanide my second single , and a collaboration with two musicians out of India , Sweden and the USA .
Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music .
During the first week of lockdown I invested in some good recording equipment which enabled me to collaborate and record my single . I actually love recording at home and engineering my vocal takes . I ' m at my best self there . I can record in my loose t-shirt and pajama ... I love it .
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
Live music is the main source of Income for indie artists . The music scene will only flourish if people show up and support them at the gigs . And organisers shouldn ' t try to take this chance to exploit musicians when things finally open up .
What can we look forward to from you now ?
Working on new music .. December is gonna be fun .
