What did you do musically through lockdown ? Did you release new music ?
I had my music classes online and tried learning songs from different genres .
I also worked on two new songs . One was a collaboration with other artists composed on an A . R . Rahman composition called Haar nahi maanenge which was a HDFC project and done to raise funds for the PM Cares fund . I also worked on Iltaja - a collaboration with Grammy Award winning composer Ricky Kej which was a plea for a cleaner Earth .
Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music
It was hard because we couldn ’ t get our technical team to help us out so everything had to be done by us . But , it did allow me tolearn new things in terms of recording myself , working on Logic , etc .
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
By continuing to do a lot of virtual events , fundraisers for struggling artists etc .
What can we look forward to from you now ?
Working on some projects . Lips sealed until it releases . You will know it when it comes .

Actually it is because of the musical activities , our minds were kept in good vibes as well as kindling more creative thoughts and expressions .
On the academic side , I started my online school Heartbeat Academy of Rhythm and Percussion ’ ( HARP ) which has brought in many students from around the globe .
I also revamped my website , YouTube links and updated information . I created a new video series playlist Karthick creations featuring my compositions , fusion pieces etc ., performed online concerts , conceived and Performed many tributes for our Guru Sri . Vikku j
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
Music scene has always been global . I think it would become more technology centric as well as usage of online portals and gadgets will increase .
What can we look forward to from you now ?
More creative things involving multi genre collaborations and interactions with renowned world musicians .
