What did you do musically through lockdown ? Did you release new music ?
On the music front , the lockdown period was an opportunity to explore collaborations with artists from around the world . Since schedules have been more open , the projects have been coming together within a matter of weeks .
This year , we released At The Door by The Thayir Sadam Project - a track that ' s very close to my heart . I wrote the melody for it eight years ago , but it just happened to reflect the mood we ' ve all been in off late .
I also released nine full music videos with brilliant artists like Shweta Mohan , Darshan Doshi , Ojas Adhiya , Akshay Anantapadmanabhan , Shashank Subramanyam , and many more . My latest release , Kapi Tillana , was an original composition and it was wonderful to collaborate with Shweta Mohan on this vocal-violin duet .
We ' ve also been doing some fun weekly themed request nights with The Thayir Sadam Project .

Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music
Fortunately , I ' ve had the experience of doing audio collaborations with some fabulous musicians from around the world for a while now , so making new music wasn ' t too much of an issue .
However , it was a challenge to make music videos remotely , so I ' ve used these last few months to take online courses and build my video editing skills .
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
In-person performances coming back to the way will take time . Many musicians have been adapting to the online medium , with varying degrees of setup . Other ways to adapt are masterclasses and workshops . In-person performances will ( and should ) start gradually when it is safe to do so ; with fewer people , so that artists create and curate for intimate gatherings as opposed to large audiences .
What can we look forward to from you now ?
My next collaboration is with an incredibly accomplished harpsichord player from the UK . We will be releasing a part of Vivaldi ' s The Four Seasons - something that I ' ve loved since I was a kid , so I ' m really looking forward to sharing it with everyone !
