What did you do musically through lockdown ? Did you release new music ?
We managed to put out our first video What You See Is What You Get in March just as the pandemic was hitting the fan . We were also able to follow up with releasing two more songs and accompanying videos in the following months .
Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music
We ’ d normally record the whole band together in the studio but I had to make demos at home as usual but then had to get all band members to record their parts at home and send them in to be mixed by me at my home .
What can we look forward to from you now ?
Looking optimistically forwards , we ’ ve got brand new songs that have been written and are waiting to be recorded , some really cool stuff that we haven ’ t done before .

What did you do musically through lockdown ? Did you release new music ?
I released my first ever single ‘ Happy Place ’ which Score Magazine so kindly reviewed !
I ’ ve also been a vocal coach for 4 years now , so after we made the online switch , I very proudly managed to get 4 of my students to write , record , and release their own singles as well , plus I hosted a couple of workshops & Pop Up Classes through my vocal training initiative ‘ Vocal Tribe India ’ for singers / songwriters . Musically , it has been very fulfilling .
Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music .
In spite of creating a makeshift studio at home with a good mic etc , there were times when I just wanted to go to a real studio , but we couldn ’ t bring in an engineer due to the lockdown . I recorded the acoustic version of my first single in my bedroom & it sounds half decent because of Gulraj Singh who took on the role of producer , mix & master engineer as well .
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
This is a tough one to answer , because in spite of us taking precautions , getting Covid is inevitable . Nonetheless , how much can we avoid living & working so we have to push through , take the risk ( with precautions ) & do things anyway . Starting small would help control things better . People have already started performing , so I ’ m sure we will recover slowly but surely !
What can we look forward to from you now ?
My second single is just about done & I ’ m excited for the world to hear it when the time is right !
