HOLIDAY
Christmas tree farm
bringing the holiday spirit
to Shelby County
I
t started with one tree. When the John Norris family
returned to the 100 year old family farm, they had no
idea what work, wonder and joy awaited them.
While working with local forester Ronnie Linville to convert
a large cattle pasture into a 10 acre woods, the seed of having
a Christmas tree farm was planted and the rest, as they say, is
history. Clearview Christmas Tree Farm has been building family
memories for over 15 years - one family at a time.
Clearview Christmas Tree Farm was “GREEN” before green
was popular. They have saved and reused many of the original
barns on the property. The main barn has been resided with
some of the salvaged siding from those buildings.
Opening day was November 24 and they are open for the rest
of the season on Saturdays and Sundays. A trip on a covered
wagon will take you out to find the perfect tree. They will cut
and bale your tree for you.
On December 2, Clearview Christmas Tree Farm will be
hosting their annual Artisan Festival. 14 different Shelby
County artists will be showing their work, such as Al Taylor’s
stained-glasswork and Diane Taylor’s basket weaving. Wine
tasting, a stage featuring
free concerts and Amish
baked goods await you
