GENERAL MEETING October 26 , 2024 3 PM Monticello Community Center , Monticello , MN MINUTES
Board Members Present : James Duenow , Lori Taylor , Rachel Duenow , Julie Gintner , Paul Hansen , Steve Bobzin , Amber Duncanson , Karson Duncanson , Ann Goebel , Julia Northwick
Members Absent : Keith Sather Meeting was called to order by President James Duenow at 3 pm . Public Open Comment : None Secretary ’ s Report : Liz Bauer
Motion made by Julia Nortwick ( Painted Sunrise Saddle Club ), seconded by Kevin Berger ( Jus ’ Kiddin ’ Around Saddle Club ) to approve the March 3rd , 2024 , General Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Arlene Bayer
As of 10 / 22 / 2024 Checking $ 137,375.62 CD ’ s-Minnco CU $ 69,447.04

The Statement of Profit / Loss was presented , which showed Income , and expenses as of 10 / 22 / 2024 . Net profit as of 10 / 22 / 2024 was $ 120,596.20 .
Motion made by Lynn-Ellen St . Martin ( Crow River Riders ), seconded by Alaina Dettling ( Cannon Falls Ridge Riders ), to accept the Treasurer ’ s Report subject to audit from October 22 nd , 2024 . Motion carried unanimously .
Correspondence : Thank-you letters were read from the newly crowned 2024-2025 Royalty
Nominations / Elections :
Board of Directors Candidates : Ann Goebel ( Northern Lights Versatility Ranch Horse Assoc ./ Heartland Riders ), Lynn-Ellen St . Martin ( Crow River Riders ), Alaina Dettling ( Cannon Falls Ridge Riders ), Dustin Heck ( Happy Trail Riders ), Courtney Betsch ( Wild River Riders ), and Keith Sather ( Dalles Saddle Club )
Nominations from the floor : None .
James Duenow called for any further nominations 3 times .
Motion was made by Glen Strube ( Tri-County Riders ), seconded by Lynn Fischer ( Mower County Trailblazers ), to cease nominations for Board of Directors . Motion carried unanimously .
Ballots were taken and Lynn-Ellen St . Martin , Keith Sather , and Dustin Heck were voted to be on the Board of Directors .
President :
Nominations From the Floor : James Duenow ( Jus ’ Kiddin ’ Around Saddle Club ) nominated Lynn-Ellen St . Martin ( Crow River Riders ) to serve as President . Lynn-Ellen accepted the nomination .

Motion was made by Bill Freitag ( Fox Hollow Saddle Club ), seconded by Julie Gintner ( Minnesota Valley Riders ), to cease nominations for President . Motion carried unanimously .
