IN CASE YOU MISSED WINTER WISHES
Keira Da
Winter Wishes made its return for the second time since the pandemic. FP dedicated their time, effort, and money to ensure that the children at Midland Elementary would have a special hour. This hour needed weeks of preparation, and every Cardinal contributed.
This year, the gifts went all out, from fidget toys to a fifty-dollar Roblox gift card. Although the bus situation was difficult, our arrival created a very exciting buzz around the school. Curious little eyes from the library and the halls watched as the high-schoolers carried boxes and bags of all colors.
The real magic began in the classroom. With the holiday spirit at its peak, the crafts and the gift-giving were the highlight of the day—for both the cardinal and the mustang.
Winter Wishes is truly a holiday to give back and create special memories. Especially after the last few years, we needed it.
