Join us for some fun at the library with your kids

MARTIN this holiday season !

At 10:30 a . m . on Thursday , Dec . 1 and 8 , please join us for Family Storytime . The youth services staff share their favorite stories featuring their own zany and creative blend of storytelling and early learning fun ! Seating may be limited , so arrive early . Storytime will be on hiatus during the last two weeks of the month . The programs are designed for preschoolers , 3-6 years old , but all ages are welcome !

On Tuesdays , December 6 and 13 , at either 10:30 a . m . or 11:15 a . m ., you can bring your youngest family members for the Wilsonville Library ’ s famous Toddler and Baby Time , where they can build early-learning skills for reading readiness !

Youth services librarians shake it up with engaging songs , stories and play for your babies and toddlers . Seating may be limited , so arrive early .

Toddler and Baby Time will also be on hiatus during the last two weeks of the month .

Also , every Tuesday this month , from 10 a . m . to 12 p . m ., come in and meet friendly Jared from the Oregon Department of Human Services ( ODHS ). Jared might be able to connect you with resources if you need assistance , like paying for food or child care , or help you find health coverage . No appointment is necessary — just come on down !

Need English language lessons ? Please join us for free English classes here at the library beginning at 10:30 a . m . on Tuesday , Dec . 6 . This is a beginning English class , but anyone wanting to improve their English may attend . This ten-week course meets for 90 minutes each week , and is limited to 10 participants . It is presented by Jim Jamieson of Goodwill Industries .

Charbonneau Golf Club

2022 has been a busy but successful year

As our calendar year ends and we celebrate the holidays with

BRAY family and friends , I find myself reflecting on all that has taken place with our golf club in 2022 . It has been a busy year with some major projects like the Market Café and new main pump and pump house for our water system . As a golfer , I am so pleased with the continued improvement in the condition of the golf course . Improving the golf course will be the focus of our capital spending for the next couple of years . Taking care of 27 holes is no small task and I am grateful for the fine work done by our superintendent Matt Collier and his crew .

As has been our practice , the Red Course has been closed for golf for the winter season . This does open the course up to the community for walking . We ask that people walking the nine holes stay near the cart paths and understand that they do so at their own risk . The course will be open for walking to the community until we prepare to re-open for golf in March 2023 .

I also want to mention that anyone who has earned credit at our pro shop in 2022 must spend all of their credit on pro shop merchandise by Dec . 31 . Credit balances will not be carried over to 2023 .
