DeadDavesRadio Magazine welcomes to the family a new reporter from Iran. Dave has been the
head of the Persian Max Cavalera Tribe since 1992. Dave has been a metal head for the majority
of his life and has helped pave the way to overcome the musical oppression in his country. We
are stoked about having him in board and looking forward to what he brings us in the coming
months!
Every man on this planet has a hobby, few have addictions. Some people enjoy listening Jazz music with
their dinner while the others dance with a pop song in a club. Many people admire the art of classic stuff
and also there are tons of rap lovers out there. Back in the 80’s, when the European electronic pop was
changing the world by its magic, you cut your hair and dressed like them. It's called a ‘Popular Fad' unless
you did, you'd be considered a total FREAK! Well, I like being a freak and this is my story, a freak boy in a
dystopian area of the world. The last place on earth you could imagine being a metalhead!
I was born and grew up in a dead, abandoned neighborhood in one of the southern states of Islamic Republic of IRAN. There, you had to wait a couple of hours just to take a bus to get you downtown. Living in
such a ghetto, plus having serious problems with the Islamic party, who been violently trying to dominate
situations by removing all foreign items from the country and substituting everything with religion, made
me creep in the corner and I started looking inside myself to see if I could find any comfort. We're talking
about a place you could have gone to jail or even condemned to suffer under the whip in public by having a
