Inaugural Women's Leadership Summit

DCS held it's first Women's Leadership
Summit in May of this year at the UGA
Center for Continuing Education. The woven
emblem symbolizes the agency culture that
the Summit nurtures; a network of women
that support, lift up, and work with each
other.
A highlight of the summit was the Women's
Leadership Panel. The panel was led by DCS
Director of Executive Operations Sandra
Thomas, Executive Director of the Georgia
Commision on Family Violence Jennifer
Thomas, and GBI Director of Public Affairs
Nelly Miles.
DCS is blessed to have so many phenomenal
women in leadership roles who are
committed to making us a better and
stronger agency.
