David Kantey
Hi, my name is David Kantey. I am a self taught Artist...not necessarily by choice, but by circumstance. I started out in Music as a career choice but ended up living in a Spiritual Orientated Community for 25 years, where I became involved in studying and learning the intricacies of Textile dyeing, and then design, before moving very tentatively into Fine Art, after about 10 years or more. I had a wonderful Mentor who coaxed the Art out of me gently, encouraging me to constantly improve my skills in all aspects of painting realism.
