BEHIND THE CLOSED DOORS
Renovation of the front office and lobby area including a new secure entrance is nearly complete . So just what can you expect beyond new carpet and fresh paint ? A double vestibule entrance that will allow you to avoid the cold , snow or rain as you wait to enter the building . A transaction window will be inside the vestibule if you are just stopping by to ask a question , or register for an activity or class . Eventually , you will check into your groups here instead of in the activity rooms .
There will also be locked doors separating the lobby from both building wings . This will provide added security for the building by controlling access to the classrooms and activity rooms . There is a new ramp to the Senior Center and the Early Child Family Programs clerk will be joining Mary Kay in the front office . Renovation is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month . You will be notified when you are able to begin using the main entrance once again . main entrance vestibule transaction window
MASK UP !
As of Thursday , August 19th , the school board is requiring face masks for all visitors , staff , and students regardless of vaccination status , while in district buildings . This includes the Gladstone Senior Center . With any luck , the Delta Variant will dissipate and soon you will be able to return yours masks to a drawer . All activities and classes will continue according to the schedule .
