NEW! Pine Needle Basket Weaving
Come learn the history of pine needle weaving as you
make your own basket using the coiling technique,
The pine needles have been hand harvested by the
instructor and baked in a glycerin bath resulting in a
beautiful chestnut brown needle, pliable enough to tie in

NEW! Introduction to Watercolors
After a basic introduction of watercolor tools, you
will learn how to create, blend and shape colors
with brush strokes, resulting in your own dreamy

NEW! Alcohol Inks Workshop
Discover this vibrant art medium that is gaining
popularity with artists of all levels. Learn techniques
that you can use on paper, metal, plastic and glass, for a
unique outcome every time. All supplies are provided,
including inks, plastic gloves, Yupo paper, tiles, as well as
many other tools for manipulating inks. You’ll take home
six or more little gems of paintings on paper and tile.

Paper Making
Learn the paper making process and then enjoy a brief
walk in the park collecting leaves, seeds, bark and other
media that will add texture and interest to the additional
sheets of paper that you create in class. Dress for the

Natural Dyeing
Learn the specifics of eco-printing, a process of
extracting plant or flower pigment directly onto a
surface. Discover which plant species yield lasting color
while creating a one-of-a-kind organic cotton bandana.
Due to processing time, you will need to pick up your
finished bandana later in the afternoon or on another
