Meet your tour guide at 1:15 pm at Winzer Stube (parking is available in the lot behind the restaurant or on the street. Access to this restaurant is by stairs only). The tour begins promptly at 1:30 pm, lasts until 4:30 pm, and is held rain or shine. The restaurants are about a block apart and the full tour encompasses a walking distance of approximately one mile over the 3 hours. No refunds less than 10 days before your tour. This brand new show is performed by Sidekick Theatre and accompanied by an on-stage orchestra at the Ives Auditorium in Bloomington. A lunch of chicken breast with cream sauce, parsley potatoes and vegetable du jour, dinner roll, coffee, tea, dessert will be served at 11:30 am and the performance will begin a 1:00 pm. Bus departs promptly at 11:00 am from Stillwater Area High School. Note: the parking lot will be crowded as this is a school day. No building access. S. 5701 Stillwater Blvd N, Stillwater 55082, board bus at main entrance Barn Quilts of Carver County Made for barns, not beds, barn quilts are quilt patterns drawn to scale and painted on wooden panels that are hung on the exterior walls of historic barns or other agricultural buildings. These beautiful pieces of artwork highlight the art of quilting while showcasing Carver County’s historic agricultural icons. This tour encompasses 10 farms and 18 barn quilts. Take the opportunity to step off the bus to not only view the quilt blocks but also surrounding gardens. Some of the farms also feature a market or antique shop. Learn why each family chose their particular quilt block as well as the history of the barn, the farm and the area. You will receive a full color brochure of all of Carver County’s 25 barn quilts. A gourmet box lunch will is included. Please arrive at Gladstone by 8:15 am. The tour will leave promptly at 8:30 am and will return to the same location at approximately 3:00 pm.
