NEW! Natural Dyeing
Explore nature through a variety of
experiences and activities including
arts, recreation and discussion/
education. Enjoy just one activity or
stay all day.
Harvest raw materials outdoors and then learn a special
type of natural dyeing called eco-printing. You will need
to return later in the afternoon or at another date to
pick up your finished bandana. Dress for the weather
and wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking along

NEW! Foraging for Food in the Wild
Take a walk with a local forager and befriend some of the
most common edible plants that you once considered
a nuisance. Discover which plants are in season, plant
identification, harvest techniques, how to forage safely
and responsibly and how to use your harvest. You will be
walking along unpaved surfaces and into wooded areas.
Dress for the weather. Bring a camera to photograph the

Begin with a walk in the park collecting leaves, seeds,
bark and other media. The paper you make in class will
be used to create a nature shadow box for you to take
home. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
