Everyone wants to be an author and everyone wants to make it out there in the big world of fame and glory. Here’s some news for you, you can’t make it using useless words. It’s just that simple. So what exactly do I mean by that? Well, let me ask you something. What’s the meaning behind your story? Is it ‘True love prevails,’ ‘Is it family matters’, or is it, ‘I’m just writing because I thought this would be an easy form of income.’ If your answer was the latter, then you’re wrong.

Writing isn’t just about making that paycheck - while a couple thousands would be nice! - it’s about the book itself. What message are you trying to convey when you write? What moral is the sole decision maker for you? Honesty, love, passion, family – there has to be something that keeps your story on the bookshelf. It has to be something that says ‘If you don’t get anything out of this book, get this!’ Why? Because that’s what many people are looking for these days, when people read, they’re not looking for mess. Many people don’t like seeing profanity on every page they turn because they find it meaningless. Others can’t stand reading about true love and how it always prevail, because it’s not realistic – I mean does that guy really stay with that girl since they were 14, and here they are at age 25 and no one has ever cheated, not once?
