Henna Workshop( Grades 6-8) YEF26-76

Discover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them. The instructor will fill in or finish your henna design and take home henna cone. All the materials will be provided.

Participants learn the fundamentals of street hockey including passing, stick handling, shooting, and positioning through drills and small games. Sessions emphasize teamwork, movement, and gameplay in a fun environment. No prior experience is required.

Middle School Spanish Prep: A Foundation Course!( Grades 6-8)

In this live, eight-week virtual class, middle school students will build a strong foundation in Spanish and prepare for future courses. Topics include numbers, the alphabet, pronunciation, days of the week, family members, school vocabulary, sentence structure and simple conversations. Lessons include interactive activities, visuals and cultural connections. Limited spaces available.
Open to new and previous middle school prep participants( online portal resources and practice tools included).
