You can easily drive to it from Limassol, Paphos and Troodos. No matter which way you choose to go, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful scenery. The Tzelefos Bridge is the biggest medieval-era stone bridge ever built in Cyprus. It goes over the Diarizos River and anyone walking over it will witness some of the most beautiful views in the country. 2 Berengaria Hotel in Prodromos The Berengaria Hotel has quite the story associated with it, and it’s considered to be one of the most haunted places in Cyprus. Also known as the Hotel of Kings, this hotel has been the site of many mysteries. The hotel has been abandoned since 1984 and is said to be haunted by three ghosts: The previous owner and his two sons who couldn’t share the fortune and argued up until this very day. Many people have reported strange shadows and mysterious flying objects here. Visit this place if you brave enough! 3 Peruse the Karpas Peninsula Arguably the most beauti- ful region in all of Cyprus is the Karpas Peninsula. The Peninsula reaches out toward the sea as if pointing a finger; beaches pepper the coast and rise into rolling hills beneath. This is one of Cyprus’ least tourist ridden spots, so you can get an eyeful of authentic Cyprus culture. You’ll need a car to get out here since there’s no public transport available in this area and the entire peninsula is considered to be a National Park. You’ll be rewarded with quaint vil- lages filled with old-timey folk who are living their lives much closer to the way ancient Cyprus folk did. You’ll get to taste real, homemade Cyprus food.
