Although CWAC is a charity it still faces competition from
other charities and campaigns. It is important to note that
there is no charity doing the exact same as CWAC.
UpRising is a social enterprise business. They train young
people leadership skills that they can apply to the community
to make social action campaigns. Campaigns such as mind
your head, realspo and mental health and me.
UpRising aims to train young people to get involved with
their community and make a real difference to social issues.
Therefore, UpRising is a direct competitor of CWAC because
it is local to Birmingham and supports similar social issues to
CWAC, along with social action campaigns. You can also
donate to UpRising and it exists locally within Birmingham
and on a national level, this creates further competition.
