Stepnell’ s role has involved the delivery of both residential and community facilities within a constrained urban setting. Careful coordination has been required throughout the construction programme to manage logistics, maintain access and minimise disruption for nearby residents.
External works have also formed an important part of the project. Landscaping, pedestrian routes and public spaces have been incorporated throughout the scheme, creating links between the housing and community centre while improving the overall quality of the environment. These elements help establish a sense of place rather than simply providing new buildings on a cleared site.
Recent updates from Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust have highlighted progress on the community centre, which has become a prominent feature of the development as construction has advanced.
