Kingscote Construction has progressed the build through key structural and envelope milestones, with the project reaching a major construction landmark in late 2024 as the building topped out.
The contractor has coordinated a complex programme that includes reinforced concrete structures, high‐performance building fabric, mechanical and electrical installations and the creation of high‐quality internal spaces designed for long‐term durability.
The redevelopment of the Burston site has also required careful management of demolition and groundworks, with Erith previously involved in clearing the former garden centre buildings and preparing the site for construction. This early phase ensured that the new development could be delivered efficiently and safely, with Kingscote Construction taking forward the main build once the site was ready.
