SPARK WALSALL

The £ 100 million SPARK development is transforming a 44-acre former copper works site in Walsall into a net zero enabled industrial and logistics hub, offering 620,000 sq ft of high spec space and creating up to 1,000 jobs.
Work is now underway on SPARK in Walsall, the ambitious regeneration of a 44-acre brownfield site that once housed the James Bridge Copper Works.
Developed by Origin— a partnership between HBD( part of Henry Boot) and Feldberg Capital- in collaboration with Walsall Council, West Midlands Combined Authority, Black Country LEP and Homes England, SPARK marks a strategic step in revitalising the Black Country’ s industrial heartland.
Built to deliver 620,000 sq ft of B2 / B8 manufacturing and logistics space across eight units, SPARK’ s phase one comprises three high spec buildings ranging from 18,000 sq ft to 250,000 sq ft. Units A and G, developed by Origin, and Unit B, delivered directly by HBD, are due for completion by Q4 2025.
Constructed with BREEAM Excellent credentials, EPC A ratings, net zero carbon capability, 12 MVA power supply and EV charging points, the site is designed to meet the specifications of modern occupiers.
