NHBC PIJ QUALITY AWARD- FAVERSHAM LAKES

Site Manager Ross Jenner and Anderson O & U have earned an NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award for delivering exceptional workmanship at the Faversham Lakes development in Kent.
Spanning 131 acres of restored countryside and former industrial land, Faversham Lakes is more than just a new housing development— it is a considered response to both the need for high-quality homes and the opportunity to regenerate a remarkable natural setting.
Located on the edge of the historic market town of Faversham, the scheme has now earned national recognition with a Pride in the Job Quality Award from NHBC, placing it among the top-performing new build projects in the country.
Anderson O & U has brought together its design and delivery teams to create a development that is as much about placemaking as it is about housebuilding. With 330 homes planned in total, the project sits within a landscape of lagoons, reedbeds, walking routes and wildlife habitats, features that aren’ t just cosmetic but integral to the identity of the scheme. The homes themselves reflect this setting: contemporary in form, with generous glazing, open-plan interiors, and garden layouts that frame views of the surrounding parkland.
From the earliest phases of construction, quality has been a central focus. Achieving this across a site of such scale— particularly one involving sensitive environmental features and repurposed heritage assets— requires a high level of technical oversight.
That standard has been set and maintained under the leadership of Site Manager, Ross Jenner, whose work has been instrumental in securing NHBC recognition. His management of materials, coordination of trades, and close control of on-site execution ensured that both visible and hidden aspects of the build met the expectations of the award’ s rigorous criteria.
