The BTCC has got off to a great start, but with Thruxton just around the corner (9-10May) all eyes are on the Honda team. Thruxton has seen some of Honda’s greatest successes and the Civic is indubitably the car to have for the circuit.

. In 2013 Honda Yuasa Racing achieved a spectacular clean sweep and with their new Type R driving well and a race win under their belt, big things are expected from the Yuasa team. Both Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden have high hopes for the weekend. It won’t be an easy weekend’s racing with the two Volkswagen drivers Plato and Turkington ready to pull home a clean sweep. Either way we’re in for a great weekend of racing.

It’s one of only 16 open-headlight SWB California Spiders ever produced, this particular example was fully restored by Ferrari Classiche and displayed at Ferrari’s official museum. It has won numerous awards and also made an appearance at the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este.
