Last October , volunteers and their families gathered at the Southeast Wastewater Treatment Plant for our Adopt a Drain launch event . Participants picked up free storm drain cleaning tools , mingled with our hard-working crews , and took a tour of the treatment plant . So far nearly 1,000 drains have been adopted , leaving over 24,000 to choose from ! Help us minimize flooding in your neighborhood and adopt a drain at adoptadrain . sfwater . org .
