Cut cost — not comfort — with LES PEAK REWARDS Earn up to $50 from LES! With our new Peak Rewards program, you can contribute to making our electric system more efficient and earn along the way! Internet-connected thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your energy use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go or set an automatic schedule optimizing your energy usage based on your routine. By signing up with the LES Peak Rewards program, you’ll receive additional rewards for being a smart energy user. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE Peak Rewards is open to any residential or small commercial customer with an internet-connected thermostat (from Nest, Honeywell, Lux, Nest, Radio Thermostat, Sensi or others) controlling their central air-conditioning system. HOW IT WORKS Enrolling your device in the program will allow LES to make brief, limited adjustments (never more than 3 degrees above your current temperature) to your thermostat during times of peak summer electric demand, June 1-Sept. 30. You can opt out of the adjustments from your thermostat, mobile device or web app. REWARDS Enroll and earn a $25 Amazon e-gift card now! For every year you participate, you will receive a $25 bill credit after the close of each program year. Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Week • March 24-30 Before severe weather strikes, make sure you’re prepared in case the power goes out! Update your information with LES. Our outage call management system, LES PowerLine, matches your phone number to your service address. Make sure to keep your information up to date so you don’t report an outage at an old address. Visit LES.com/report-outage to update your information today. Put together a basic emergency kit. Start with the essentials: food (bottled water and non-perishable food items), light (flashlight or lantern) and a way to stay informed (a battery- operated radio or TV). Extra batteries are encouraged! Know how to report an outage. LES has two ways for you to report an outage: online at LES.com/report or over the phone via PowerLine at 888.365.2412. During an outage, preserve battery life on your laptop, tablet or smartphone to stay up to date on power restoration.
