MARCH 2019
It’s never been easier to go solar in Lincoln
This year, LES added the option to purchase half "virtual"
panels to our Virtual Net Metering program — making it
easier than ever to go solar!
With a half panel purchase you pay either a one-time
enrollment fee of $320* or you can sign up for 36 fixed
payments of $9.15* a month through your LES bill.
Best of all you'll receive a monthly credit to lower your bill
— without having to install solar panels on your property.
LES’ VNM program is designed to give customers
— renters and homeowners alike — access to solar
energy plus bill credits for supporting clean energy in
our community.
MOVING?
If you’re enrolled in VNM and move within LES’ service
territory, your virtual panels will automatically follow
you to your new service address.
If you move outside of LES’ service territory, the
program allows you to receive a refund, generally equal
to 75 percent of the panel’s purchase price at that time.
You can also go solar by signing up for LES SunShares,
a community initiative to support solar energy in the
Lincoln area. You can participate in the program by
adding a contribution ($3 minimum) on top of your
monthly electric bill.
Enroll now at LES.com/solar.
You can also purchase a full “virtual” panel for $640*
and receive energy credits every month for the
remaining life of the 20-year program, ending in 2036.
*Current-year prices shown do not include tax.
SEP funds are back!
If you’re buying a new home, upgrading your current one, or if your business could benefit from improvements
that will help to save on energy expenses, you may qualify for financial incentives from LES’ Sustainable Energy
Program. Visit LES.com/sep for more information and then contact a contractor for bids.
