Assalamualaikum , It ’ s a great pleasure for me to welcome you all to the second edition of Chittagong University Model United Nations Association ( CUMUNA )’ s signature event- CUMUN ’ 16 , as well as in the castle of green- University of Chittagong . Hopefully , it ’ s going to be the most beautiful MUN conference you have ever experienced .
Model UN is that platform for students which focuses on developing communication skill , leadership skill , public speaking quality with the art of diplomacy and negotiation . This time , CUMUN ’ 16 will task itself to recreate the spirit of MUN in Bangladesh with a new vibe . I hope young diplomats will take this opportunity to explore the world of MUN by experiencing a great time with a lot of fun . I would like to add that , CUMUN ’ 16 is not only a MUN conference but also a result of vigorous endeavor of the whole CUMUNA family .

Welcome all the potential & enthusiastic delegates from home and abroad at CUMUN 16 . After the successful completion of CUMUN 15 last year , we the CUMUNA going to organize the largest MUN Conference of Southern Bangladesh starting from 10-13 February , which is CUMUN 16 . As we know refugee problem is the main concern of contemporary world , we are looking forward to work with the problem under the theme “ Uphold Humanity , Save Refugees ”. We , the Secretariat , believe that you people are the future diplomat of the world you have all the potential to come up with some fruitful and relevant solutions in the resolution paper .
