Message from Under Secretary Generals
CUMUNA has always provided a platform to practice Leadership , Negotiation and Diplomacy and always worked with a goal of making a skilled , efficient and competent group of students in the Chittagong University since April 2014 . And with this goal it has decided to spread the idea and also with a view to dispense a podium to engage in an International Students Community so that each and every students can build their capacity in the enormously green and the embodiment of natural beauty- The Evergreen Chittagong University , the land of Shuttle .
And with the same dream we have launched the 2nd phase of our signature event- “ Chittagong University Model United Nations - CUMUN 2016 ” after the great success of CUMUN 15 last year . The theme for CUMUN ’ 16 is “ Uphold Humanity , Save Refugees ” and on the basis of this theme we will pass all the resolutions to solve Refugee Crisis that the world is facing at present . And we call the world to come and participate in the Global Policy Making for the utmost betterment of the displaced people throughout the World .

We are standing on the revolutionary platform of one of the biggest Model United Nations Conference of South Asia . ‘ Chittagong University Model United Nations 2016 ’ is the largest and the most dignified MUN conference of the port city of Bangladesh . As an Under Secretary General of this conference , I would like to congratulate all the organizers , delegates and the model UN enthusiasts all over the country for their utmost support and dedication .
Although CUMUN is the signature event of Chittagong University Model United Nations Association but we , ‘ Team CUMUNA ’ have amplified it with our dream . In this session we are having a four day conference . There will be eight committees with about three hundred and fifty young diplomats will talk , negotiate and solute intricate problems of the present world .
CUMUN16 is not only a conference but also a constant endeavor to uphold the University of Chittagong & Chittagong to the world . My heartiest gratitude to the university administration and the honorable sponsors who had put their faith on us . I am confident to prospect their ratification in the future days .
