Note that we believe that racism is a serious issue. People should not be judged by the color of their skin. Every person, regardless of race, religion, gender, etc, should be judged by their actions and their character. We recognize that racism exists and is harmful to those who suffer its consequences. We have sympathy for victims of racism. As disgusting as racism is, we believe that the media has inflamed the situation by not giving all of the conflicting evidence surrounding the case. We think that some of the responses in Ferguson are appropriate for how the media initially reported the Micheal Brown case, but not for what really happened. We are only referring to the Micheal Brown case, not any of the other cases that are going on. It seems to us that there are plenty of actual, truly disturbing

On August 9th, 2014, Micheal Brown was shot and Killed by Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. Brown was an unarmed, black teenager and was shot by a white police officer. (Wilson) As waves of protest roll of the Unites States, we take one side of the argument.
instances of racism to be disgusted by without focusing on what happened to Micheal Brown, who by all accounts died a result of his actions, not because of the color of his skin. His death is truly sad and we feel sorry for his friends and family. We just think that had Michael Brown truly been the innocent, gentle giant as characterized by the media, that it might have been an occasion for people of all races to come together in shared outrage. Unfortunately, the media's gross mischaracterization of what happened has had the opposite effect. (truthrevolt.org)(washingtonpost.com)
