The Story Behind the TOWER of PISA Michela De Lisio, Daria Miele, Mara Clemente, Nicola Montesanto Many years ago, there was a noble Italian family, who had left a big and beautiful tower to their son Enrico, the king of Pisa, one of the most important city in Italy for its cultural heritage. Enrico was loved and respected by all the citizens: in fact everything he did was for the good of the people. But someone hated him: his cousin Giovanni. He was very envious of the position of Enrico: in fact, unlike his cousin, Giovanni wasn’t very rich and all people hated him because of his physical aspect: he was so tall and big that people called him ‘The Giant of Pisa’. 24
