The cleaning lady wanted to go back home and I didn't want to let her go as she had fair hair… The team working for the lab came back 2 hours later with the results of the blood spatters but they didn't match the cleaning lady's so I let her go away … What did I miss ? Who else had a motive for stealing the boar ? Humm ... When my colleagues searched the bank account of the museum curator, nothing seemed strange … Whose blood was it then ? During that night, one of the police cars was patrolling in Soulac, near the Casino. They saw someone in the street and stopped to check the man's identity but he ran away so they arrested him. He had blood on his hands and he was … a nightkeeper. Later on, they called me to tell me what had happened. His blood tests finally revealed that they matched the blood found in the museum. The nightkeeper finally confessed that he had stolen the boar as he didn't have enough money. He thought he could disactivate the old cameras, hide the sculpture and sell it after. He didn't deny his act and gave the sculpture back to the curator... This is how this investigation ended at 8:30 the next morning. I was hungry so I left the museum, it was too late for my dessert but I could probably be back home to have breakfast with my family. What a pityful Christmas. Humm ... 23
