The ceremony takes place on Saturday, until
noon and lasts about 3 hours. Later in the family
meets the closest family. Orthodox Romania is
also guarding the ephemeral rites in the
necropolis, called the Radonites. Visitors to the
graves of the dead should bring Easter eggs
and Easter food. In the family cemetery they
share a meal and share it with the poor in
exchange for a prayer for the deceased's intent.
Such a ritual in orthodox Romania strengthens
the faith of the living in that the loved ones who
have left are still among them and after death
do not cease to be members of the Orthodox
Church.
