Simply put, she wanted an opportunity for faculty to be able to exchange ideas and learn from each other in best practices. From that simple desire, the CTE was born. Since its inception, the CTE has grown into a clearinghouse for all the tools that support excellence in teaching. Not only do we organize and plan your professional development opportunities, such as Friday workshops and Welcome Back meetings, but we also have specific subcommittees devoted to our full- time and part-time faculty including Grants, myCTE, Faculty Spotlight and Faculty Enrichment.
