Study Abroad
America
Study Abroad America (SAA) is a nondegree program where international
students visit the California State
University, Dominguez Hills campus for a
semester or two.
International students can attend
university credit courses without formal
admission or university exchange
agreement. Study Abroad America (SAA)
provides an incredible cultural and
academic learning opportunity. Students
experience American culture, learn in
interesting university classes, enjoy
beautiful Southern California weather, and
make lasting friendships.
SAA is designed for students who have met
the TOEFL requirement or who have
received high scores on placement tests.
Students who do not meet the English
proficiency requirement may need to
complete a semester or more of intensive
English courses in our ALCP before
enrolling in university courses.

Training Programs
The College of Extended and International
Education is one of the university’s
outreach tools to link California State
University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) to the
world’s diverse communities. We believe
our efforts to share our economic, cultural
and social developments benefit not only
the communities we serve but also the
University.
Our program provides information for
diverse audiences that include government
officials, business executives, scholars,
and students. We can customize a variety
of academic programs, including classroom
instruction, field visitations, internships,
and professional appointments.
The programs build cultural and business
bridges between the U.S., California, and
countries outside the U. S. and foster
increased exchange between organizations
and individuals in economic, governmental,
academic, and civic sectors. To ensure the
success of our programs, we work closely
with our university faculty and with expert
professionals in California companies and
government agencies at the state, county,
city, and national level.
Short-term training programs can be from
one week to three months.
