Crowley High School names football field after two-time Super
Bowl champion and former Eagle standout, Gary Reasons
On opening night of the 2016 season, the Crowley High
School football program recognized one of the greatest
players to ever wear the purple and white.
Gary Reasons was a standout multi-sport athlete for the
Eagles, earning 13 varsity letters from 1976-80. He was
an all-region linebacker and First Team All-State tight
end as a senior.
He earned a scholarship to play linebacker at
Northwestern State University in Louisiana, where he
was the first three-time All American in Division 1-AA
(FCS) history. In 1996, he was among the inaugural class
of small school college players inducted into the College
