long to pick up the big win at home. They hit four doubles and a home run. Ronnie Olson led the way for the Lakers. He went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBI, a double, and a home run.
Ryan Naughton picked up the win on the mound in relief of Kodey Simon. Naughton went four innings, allowing zero runs, whilke striking out three.
Mac Zachow led the way for the Irish in the loss, driving in two runs.
Plato 6, Brownton 0
Fri., July 15 Kyle Panning and Matt Odegaard led the Plato
Bluejays to a 6-0 win over the Brownton Bruins. Panning and Odegaard each drove in two runs to lead the Bluejays offensively.
Cody Hallahan notched the win. He went all nine innings, allowing zero runs, while striking out seven.
Deryk Randt led the way for the Bruins with two hits.
Watertown 17, St. Boni 7
Fri., July 15
Brendan Weege and his big day at the plate led the Watertown Red Devils to a 17-7 win over the St. Boni Saints in eight innings.
Weege had a double and a home run as he drove in three runs. Ryan Lane also had a big day, going 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and five RBI in the win.
Chad Jones picked up the win on the mound. He went six and a third innings, allowing six runs off of seven hits.
Mike Dabu led the Saints offensively. He had three hits and three RBI.
Carver 3, Hamburg 0
Sat., July 16
Mark Ulrich was dominant on the mound in six innings of work as he led the Carver Black Sox to a 3-0 win over the Hamburg Hawks.
Ulrich went seven innings, allowing just five hits while striking out 10 on his way to picking up the win.
Josh Mensch had the big day at the plate for the Black Sox. He had a home run and drove in two runs to lead the way.
Jeff Hancock led the way for the Hawks with two hits.
New Germany 7, Mayer 6
Sat., July 16
A five-run second inning helped the New Germany Dutchmen to a 7-6 win over the Mayer Blazers.
Koty Hensel went 3-for-4 with two doubles, and drove in two runs to lead the way for the Dutchmen.
Jason Bullis picked up the win on the mound. He went six innings, allowing four runs while striking out five.
The Blazers had a blanced attack at the plate in the loss. Tanner Luebke, Adam Parker, and Matt Schreder each had three hits, while Jordan Berrios drove in three runs.
Watertown 8, St. Boni 1
Sat., July 16
Riley Gehl and his three RBI led the Watertown Red Devils to a season sweep over the St. Boni Saints.
Andrew Nichols picked up the win for the Red
Devils on the mound. He went five innings, allowing one run off of five hits. Patrick Tschida had two hits in the win, as well.
For the Saints, Mike Dumas led the way with three hits, and Mike Dabu drove in the lone run of the game.
New Germany 3, Winsted 2
Sun., July 17
The New Germany Dutchmen kept their momentum going with a big 3-2 win over the Winsted Wildcats.
Hayden Meyer was masterful on the mound as he pitched the complete game. He allowed just eights, giving up two runs, and striking out five on the way to leading the Dutchmen to victory.
Sam Schiffman and Mike McGill led the Dutchmen at the plate as they both homered.
Matt Elsenpeter led the way for the Wildcats. He homered and had two hits along with Joe Kley in the loss.
Plato 7, Hamburg 3
Sun., July 17
Nolan Lepel and the Plato Bluejays kept their winning streak alive with a 7-3 win over the Hamburg Hawks.
With the win, the Bluejays wrapped up the No. 1 seed and a bye into the Region 7C tournament.
Lepel led the way for the Bluejays going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in the win. Kyle Panning also drove in two runs in the win.
Adam Prehn was credited with the win. He went seven innings, allowing three runs, while striking out three.
Spencer Nelson led the way for the Hawks at the plate. He went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in the loss.
Green Isle 9, Glencoe 0
Sun., July 17 Max Langheinrich was masterful on the mound as he led the Green Isle Irish to a 9-0 win over the
Glencoe Brewers.
Langheinrich threw seven shutout innings, and gave up just one hit while striking out 15 to pick up the win.
The Irish had a balanced attack at the plate. Josh Anthony, Ben Alexander, and Aaron Biagouette each had two hits to lead the way.
Colton Lueders was the bright spot for the Brewers in the loss. He collected both of his team’ s two hits.
Waconia 9, Cologne 3
Sun., July 17
The Waconia Lakers picked up a 9-3 win over the Cologne Hollanders, thanks to Craig LaPlante and his big day at the plate.
LaPlante went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI to lead the Lakers. Ronnie Olson also had a nice day at the plate, driving in two runs.
Dylan Linder picked up the win on the mound. He went four and two thirds innings, allowing three runs, while striking out four.
Alex Meeker led the Hollanders with two hits, including a double.
