With the regular season coming to a close this weekend, the playoffs are right around the corner. The Plato Bluejays have already locked up the Crow River Valley League season championships, and received a bye into the Region 7C tournament. The Bluejays will also be the No. 1 seed in the Region 7C tournament. The other seven spots in the region tournament are still up for grabs. Waconia picked up a big win over Green Isle back on July 14 to push them ahead of Green Isle due to the tie breaker. If the Lakers can win out, they will get a bye into the Region 7C tournament and receive the No. 2 seed. Green Isle can claim the the bye and No. 2 seed as well by winning out, and getting some help with a Waconia loss. Winsted as well has an outside chance to claim the No. 2 seed, but needs to win out, and have Waconia and Green Isle lose. The remaining teams will play a best of three game series starting on Tuesday, July 26, and running though Sunday, July 30 if games are necessary.
