What’ s something outside of school that helps you recharge? My favourite thing to do after a long day is to go on a long walk with music. I have been loving walking along the sea wall to English Bay or along Olympic Village. I also enjoy seeing friends outside of school or going for coffee or a Dairy Queen Blizzard.
What are some fun facts about yourself? I cannot do a cartwheel, and I have never been able to do one. It has been my goal forever to be able to complete one. Catch me on Kent Field practicing when the days get a little nicer. I will accept any tips and tricks that come my way!
This interview gave us a closer look at Ms. Radnidge and what she brings to CHS. From her passion for teaching to her involvement in coaching and school activities, it’ s clear that she is excited to be part of our school community. ECE UPDATE

JKs What do you want to be when you grow up? Yuna JKH: When I grow up, I want to be a doctor. Ella JKC: When I grow up, I want to be a teacher. Katheryn JKH: Elsa. What is your favourite subject in school? Chloe JKC: Number time. Olivia JKH: I like letters and playing dramatic play. Fiona JKC: Dress up. What are you learning right now? Darsi JKH: Fairy tales. Dezra JKC: My teacher says how to play with new toys. Ellie JKH: Fairytales. What’ s your favourite thing to do in dramatic play? Frida JKH: I like to go into the castle and look at the floor. Sloan JKH: Go up to the castle. Freya JKC: I like to dress up.
SK teachers What is your favourite thing about teaching SKs? Ms. Sangara: My favourite thing about teaching SK is their imagination and curiosity. Ms Walsh: I love that there’ s so much imagination and creativity in here. At this age, there’ s so much inventiveness, it feels like a magical place. Ms. Del Barrio: The students are curious and joyful.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Ms. Sangara: I wanted to be a veterinarian. Ms. Del Barrio: A teacher. Ms Walsh: A teacher.
JK teachers What are you currently learning? Ms. Bal: Currently, we are just finishing fairy tales. Mrs. Liang: We planted beans from Jack in a Bean Stalk and wrote our own fairy tale story. Ms. Longeri: They are currently learning fairy tales and stories. What are your students enjoying the most? Ms. Bal: I would say dramatic play. Ms. Longeri: Dramatic play and using their imaginations.
SKs What do you want to be when you grow up? Isabel SKH: A pilot. Talia SKH: A ballerina. Althea SKH: A policeperson. What animals are you studying? Amelia SKH: Owls. Emi SKH: Owls. Riley SKH: Birds. What are you guys currently learning? Olivia SKH: Owls. Emilia SKH: Fairytales. Beatrice SKH: Counting how much stuff is on the sheet. What ' s your favourite subject? Ailyn SKH: Art class.
