Headquarters of Texas Cretans
We are looking for all Cretans residing in the great state of Texas
and we need your help.
The ARIADNE chapter was established in San Antonio, Texas, in April 2000
with just a few families. We devoted our time and talents to create awareness
to our community of our Hellenic heritage, our Cretan spirit and to preserve our
culture, customs and traditions. We worked hard to preserve and promote the
goals of our fine organization. We supported and volunteered our services to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox
Church, GOYA, AHEPA, the Daughters of Penelope and the Philoptohos with several fundraising projects
and other community activities. However, the community lost interest in supporting our Cretan Chapter.
But we did not lose faith. Instead we remained strong spirited and the desire to keep the chapter going
grew stronger like a burning fire in our hearts. We now have established our chapter as the headquarters of the Cretans of Texas. Since Texas is so big there must be some Cretans living in different cities.
We already have some members from Amarillo and Austin and we just had the Houston chapter merge
with our chapter.
We are asking the national president and his board members as well as the entire PAA membership
who may have a relative or friend who resides in Texas to encourage them to join our chapter. They can

We believe in unity for growth. Now, more than ever before, we need to be united for a common goal
to promote our Hellenic values, culture and Cretan heritage.
Our chapter has three types of memberships.
Regular: Members of Cretan descent.
Associate: Limited amount of members who love Crete and support the goals of our chapter.
Honorary: Members who render a special service or financial support.
