This“ mixed choir is open to any student in Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 who wishes to develop their vocal technique and enjoys singing. Students will also | ||
learn the basics of music theory, rhythms and sight-singing. At least 2 performances are required each semester. To gain the maximum benefit | ||
from this course, it is highly recommended that you take the class both fall and spring semesters. |

This“ concert choir” is open to any student who has completed at least one semester in Vocal Music I and who is interested in singing and | ||
developing a more advanced choral repertoire. Students will also continue to work on music theory, rhythms, and sight-singing. Though this is not | ||
an auditioned choir, at least two performances are required each semester. Students will compete in regional competitions in the spring and may | ||
also be given the opportunity to participate in collegiate festivals. To gain the maximum benefit from this course, it is highly recommended that | ||
you take the class both fall and spring semesters. |

This auditioned chamber choir is designed for the more serious music student wishing to study more advanced choral literature. Students will | ||
explore advanced music theory, rhythms and sight-singing. Students will compete in regional competitions in the spring and will also be given the | ||
opportunity to participate in collegiate festivals. At least two performances are required each semester. Students are required to take this class | ||
both semesters unless they have a conflict with an academic class. |
