This “ mixed choir is open to any student in Grades 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 who wishes to develop their vocal technique and enjoys singing . Students will also | ||
learn the basics of music theory , rhythms and sight-singing . At least 2 performances are required each semester . To gain the maximum benefit | ||
from this course , it is highly recommended that you take the class both fall and spring semesters . |

This “ concert choir ” is open to any student who has completed at least one semester in Vocal Music I and who is interested in singing and | ||
developing a more advanced choral repertoire . Students will also continue to work on music theory , rhythms , and sight-singing . Though this is not | ||
an auditioned choir , at least two performances are required each semester . Students will compete in regional competitions in the spring and may | ||
also be given the opportunity to participate in collegiate festivals . To gain the maximum benefit from this course , it is highly recommended that | ||
you take the class both fall and spring semesters . |

This auditioned chamber choir is designed for the more serious music student wishing to study more advanced choral literature . Students will | ||
explore advanced music theory , rhythms and sight-singing . Students will compete in regional competitions in the spring and will also be given the | ||
opportunity to participate in collegiate festivals . At least two performances are required each semester . Students are required to take this class | ||
both semesters unless they have a conflict with an academic class . |
