As the couple live in their home (Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem) that had previously been burned from some sort of fire, strange occurrences become more frequent when a man and his wife come to stay in their home. As things such as hidden rooms and secrets come to be realized as the wife loses her sense of comfort. As she becomes more uneasy, more people start showing up in the home, and not just to visit. As all these strange occurrences take place, it seems as if Jennifer Lawrence, the wife of the writer, is the one who is acting strange as she is losing her mind over the change. As all people do, she hates change which makes this film all the more convincing, and it is defies an easy description.

An easy description is not what was expected either, so it lives up to that aspect. It lives up to this aspect almost as much as the people are living it up in her house. As it goes for my opinion, I very much anticipate this movie and so do a few peers in the Silver Creek community. These peers were curious and eager to see how this allegedly crazed film will play out. Telling how this whole film would be played out was not something that you could just guess from a trailer. It seems as if the movie starts off with a breach of privacy, being that Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem moved to a seclusive home to get privacy. Then it seems as if it is a home invasion, at least to Mother (Jennifer Lawrence) as more people appear in their home. But hey, don’t you love it when there is unexpected company? And they tear your life apart, ruin the fun and possibly your child. It’s all great and beautiful, just beautiful. The movie is great for messing the viewers up mentally, similar to IT. And for those who have not seen the movie, you may need to do some research after watching it to understand what you just witnessed. And I promise it will mess you up. It will mess you up like the time you realized that the clouds in the original Mario video game are the bushes but just painted white. Or the time that Patrick mooned everyone in The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (2004). So if you are someone who like horror movies and you like movies that screw your thought process up, you should definitely see Mother! It is quite the sight to see.
