2.4.4 Website
The website was optimized to offer information on the products and services but to also provide content regularly on news and
events. A new feature of the page is the Blog which provides information on financial prudence and lifestyle-type issues which are
relevant to our membership.
The statistics for the website showed a steady increase in audience reach with over 7617 page views with the average person
spending 4.15 minutes on the website. The statistics also showed a marked increase in traffic to the website in the month of March
which coincided with the promotion of our facebook pages and the launch of the CU Spree promotion.

2.4.5 Facebook 2013
Our GPSCCU Facebook page & Excel Club Page continued to grow significantly. The GPSCCU can boast of an achievement of 4534
Facebook fans on the GPSCCU page, and over 1156 Excel Fans on the Excel page in one year, ending in 2013. This was due to the
heightened level of engagement through competitions, interesting posts, pictures and videos which were consistently posted on
the page.

One to Ten Competition
There were two facebook initiatives during the year. The first was called “One to Ten” where facebook fans were encouraged to
submit ideas for converting $1000.00 into $10,000 in six months. The Competition began on June 10th 2013 and ended on June
28th 2013. There were 27 entries in the competition. Five of those entries were chosen by the two-person judging team to proceed
to the finals. The success of this programme can be measured by the marked increased in facebook fans during the period which
rose from 1400 to 2500. There was also a marked increase in engagement on facebook in regards to the number of people sharing
stories about the page. These stories included liking the Page, posting to the Page’s timeline, commenting on or sharing one of
GPSCCU’s Page posts, answering a question posted, responding to events, mentioning the Page, tagging the GPSCCU Page in a
photo or checking in at the GPSCCU. The Winner of the One to Ten Facebook Competiton was Josh Fletcher with his idea called
“Pet Guru”.

Excel Savvy Saver Competition
In this competition, persons under 18 were asked to submit a “Wacky Photo” of a way in which they save money. The winner of this
competition was Miguel Patrice who received a pizza party at Ricks Café valued at $300.00. With this competition, likes increased
by 100%, however, there is still some work to do to get a higher level of engagement.

The Excel Club page can also boast a high level of member engagement and interactivity on the Facebook page. Much more work
has to be done on this page to truly engage teens through this media. The excel page was used to promote the Excel “Be Cool”
Watches to students.
2.4.6 Annual General Meeting 2013
The Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday April 25th 2013 at the Grenada Trade Center. The meeting was held under the
theme: Evolving to meet members’ needs in changing times. This was coined to highlight the value the Credit Union places on
being able to create products and services which are demanded by modern credit union members.
