roof. Vinoy Roy and Nikhil Tobria’s chain has
5 stores in Delhi NCR alone and is expanding
to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Th e brand recently made it to the elite Top 100
franchise brands list in ‘Th e Franching World’
magazine.
Pet Food
Th ere is a global rise in trends like
vegetarianism, veganism and organic, and
sustainable living. When pet parents take to
such trends, they do not want their pets to
be left behind and look for freshly prepared,
organic food for them.
Doggie Dabbas: Founder Rashee Kuchroo
had the serendipitous idea for Delhi based
‘Doggie Dabbas’ when she realised that her
dogs preferred her home-cooked meals to
packaged dog food. She opines “Starting from
our little backyard, Doggie Dabbas came
to light with the sole passion for providing
healthy, home cooked, customised meals for
‘man’s best friend”. Doggie Dabbas has also branched in the Feline Food
segment with Meow Chow - a range of treats for cats.
Bowchow: Bowchow came into being with the sole passion to provide
ready to eat fortifi ed home-cooked dog food to man’s best friend. Ashwin
Kashyap Raghuraaman’s venture also off ers monthly subscription
packages to Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Tiruchi.
Woof Yums: Delhi based startup WoofYums, the brainchild of Jotvinder
Singh, was established with the principle objective of helping pet parents
provide wholesome daily nutrition to their furry friends. Th e venture
was also nominated for Start up of the Year award at India Digital
Awards.
Fresh For Paws: Srishti Bhatia came up with her startup ‘Fresh For Paws’
with the aim of providing fresh, homemade, grain-free, ready to eat pet
food to pet owners. Th e Delhi based venture provides nutritious meals
that are free from rendered meats, by-products and preservatives.
Pet Tiffi n: One of the pioneers in the pet food segment, Pet Tiffi n
provides aff ordable homemade dog food to doggie owners across
Mumbai. Th e freshly prepared fortifi ed meals are cooked keeping
consumption, appetite and nutritional value in mind. Several vets and
celebrity dog owners recommend Wasiff Khan’s Pet Tiffi n service.
FurrMeals: FurrMeals Home Cooked Pet Food, is a Delhi based startup
off ering Vet-formulated delectable, balanced, healthy and nutritional
meals that are free from chemical preservatives, artifi cial additives,
fi llers and by-products. Founded in 2018, Sujata Bhattacharya’s venture
provides weekly and monthly subscription plans based on the weight,
breed, age and activity level of the dog.
