Winter Night
By: Lily Lauzon
In the sky, a bright pale light,
Reflects off of a sleigh,
The snow glistening white.
There is movement under the light,
Rabbits’ fur glow a grey,
In the sky, a bright pale light.
Moving under the moonlight,
A pack of wolves play.
The snow glistening white.
Swoosh, an owl in flight,
Searching for it’s prey
In the sky, a bright pale light.
The clock strikes midnight
Ding-ding-ding, signaling a new day.
The snow glistening white.
And in my room, I sit and write,
Passing the night, waiting for day.
In the sky, a bright pale light,
The snow glistening white.
