Two-Ingredient Fake Snow ( That ' s Cold !) Everybody loves playing in the snow , but sometimes it ’ s too brutal outside to stay for long . Bring a little bit of that joy inside with this 2 ingredient snow recipe . It even feels cold to the touch like real snow ! How “ cool ” is that ? And you won ’ t believe how easy it is . All you need is baking soda and shaving cream ! Plus a container to mix and store it in . Just keep adding the ingredients until you get the snow-like consistency and enjoy “ playing in the snow !”
Ice Excavation One of my kids ’ very favorite activities when they were little was ice excavation ! All you do is fill a pan with water and add small toys . Freeze until solid , and give your child a rubber mallet for busting the ice and freeing the toys ! For a fun twist , try filling up water balloons and freezing them . Add food coloring before you freeze for cool “ marble balls ” when you peel the balloon away . We used the ice balls to create sculptures , but they make pretty porch ornaments until they melt !
Puffy Snow Paint It ’ s fun to explore different textures , and this puffy snow paint provides a great sensory experience that is really fun to paint with ! This recipe from Imagination Tree is super easy to make with only 2 ingredients . Just mix 1 / 2 cup white glue with 1 / 2 cup shaving cream ! Stir in glitter if you ’ d like to give it that sparkly snow effect .
