Our mission is to keep girls and young women off the streets. To help them develop into successful young ladies that impact and influences their communities, generation and future.
WHO WE SERVE
Girls Receiving Abundant Blessings was established in 2000 to meet the needs of girls and young women ages 12-21. Young women who are labeled as "At Risk", teenage/single moms, victims of physical, mental and sexual abuse, homeless and/or in poor living conditions. Many of our girls and young women we help were left feeling traumatized, devastated, neglected, depressed, suicidal, and with no self-esteem as a result of their experiences. The mental and emotional effect caused by their experiences pushed many of them to promiscuous lives that resulted to pregnancy and/or contracting sexually transmitted diseases.
G.R.A.B.'s mission is to transform these young women from being statistics to success stories.

GOALS
- To teach young women how to be productive and self-sufficient.
- To help young women build up their self-esteem and self-worth through counseling and education.
- To help young women overcome a stage of hopelessness and helplessness by teaching social and human growth development.
- To help them create a positive life map with a clear path to their career goals.
- To help them achieve their High-school Diploma or GED and encourage them to further their education and obtain marketable skills.
