“ I know this is out of the blue, but I have an extra ticket to a mom conference in Florida, and I wanted to invite you. It would be great to see you again.”
The text had come from Suzie, a friend who had moved away several months ago. It surprised her when the text came through, because they hadn’ t really been very close. But what surprised her more, was that she actually wanted to go. She didn’ t care as much about the mom conference as she did about just getting away from the pit she was living in.
After checking with her husband, she accepted the invitation to Mom Mastery Live, just two short weeks away.
Suzie had joined Mom Mastery University years ago. Her own transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Looking back, it seems as if she is talking about a stranger,“ I cried.. a lot! I was struggling with depression; and we were really having a hard time financially. As a result, I was really stressed out; and yelled at my kids all the time.”
The stress was understandable, Suzie and her family had moved away from Florida to follow a job, only to find themselves unemployed and without any source of income months later. The pressure was just too much. That was when Suzie joined MMU and her life began to turn around.
At the very beginning of her transformation, Suzie began using“ Hannah’ s Whistle Therapy” on herself, picking up the whistle around her neck and blowing it every single time she heard herself yell. Pretty soon, by increasing her awareness of her own damaging behaviors, she was able to change them around. Life got calmer. Suzie got happier. And her children got to see a brand new side of their mom.
Suzie lights up when she talks about her life now,“ I have so much more peace and joy.
I’ m actually able to apply what I know spiritually to my life and my home.” She has also started decluttering her home, and hasn’ t stopped.
“ There is so much freedom now,” she says.“ Less is truly more!”

" There is so much freedom now. Less is truly more!

Because of the difference MMU has made in her own life, Suzie wanted to share it with others. And Joyce was at the top of her list.
When they first talked on the phone, following the text, Suzie was at a point where she was able to speak life into Joyce and encourage her. Being all too familiar with the pain of depression, Suzie’ s voice was like a light piercing the darkness that Joyce was trying so hard to hide from everyone else. Following the Holy Spirit’ s direction, Suzie prayed over Joyce and began a relationship that would have eternal impact.
