Traditions of Halloween
Halloween in Romania is celebrated around the myth of
"Dracula" on 31 October. The spirit of Dracula is believed to live
there because the town was the site of many witch trials; these
are recreated today by actors on the night of Halloween. The
most successful Halloween Party in Transylvania is taken place
in Sighisoara, the citadel where Vlad the Impaler was born.

If you ever visit one of these places you may find yourself
shivering with goosebumps for no reason. Or is there?
Borley Rectory, Essex, England
Borley Rectory was built in 1863 on the site of an old
monastery. The reports of strange occurrences date back to the mid
to late 1800?s however, the first documented evidence of paranormal
activity was in the early 1900s. In 1939 the house was burnt to the
ground caused by an oil lamp.
It was then left in ruins until 1944 when it was demolished. You can
still visit the site today where there are still reports of sightings and
activities.
